From the land to the table. Sagàs is a small, mid-mountain village North of Barcelona, a wonderful site, origin of every product they use in their kitchen. In these fertile grounds, the Rovira family grow transgenic-free vegetables, raise cattle under the highest quality standards and at their own workshop they craft charcuterie products following centuries-old recipes.
Sagàs is a great gastronomic journey through the best of the world’s street food. They have gone around the globe to reinterpret the great classics of urban gastronomy, while still remembering who they are. From catalan classics like “butifarra” and “llonganissa”, while they travel to the oriental aromas of chinese buns, the mythical vietnamese báhn mi, all the way to american burgers with grilled “Gallega” beef and italian delicacies like “burrata” and smoked sardines “bruschetta”.
