Grupo SAGARDI was born in 1996 with the desire to seek gastronomic roots, to offer high quality, solid and authentic proposals. A project that has established itself over the years as a prestigious benchmark recognized in the world of catering, initially specialized in quality Basque cuisine and currently diversified in other gastronomic cultures as well.
The initial project dates back to 1994, when the first IRATI restaurant, in the historic center of the city, was inaugurated by Iñaki and Mikel López de Viñaspre, in Barcelona. As a result of IRATI, which became the seed of the current SAGARDI Cocineros Vascos restaurants, the group has evolved and grown to become what it is today.
