Shop's history
Since the beginning of the century, the place has been used for bacon. The Travé family took over the shop in 1955. From the beginning, the shop enjoyed a reputation due to the sausages and hams made by Mr. Antoni Travé (Father), a master butcher.
In the early 1990s, due to an illness, the aforementioned Antoni Travé had to leave the business, passing it on to his son and his wife, Helene Dufner. Toni took care of the production, while Helene focused her work on the point of sale.
As for the workshop, Toni continued to make the products that his father had always made, although given his great fondness and interest in cooking, he began to train in this field and in the field of elaboration in the Professional School of the Fundación Oficis de la Carn and in different schools dedicated to these fields. As a result of this training, Toni recovered traditional sausages and introduced culinary techniques to those products he had always made.
