Shop's history
Casa Delfín opened its doors more than 100 years ago, when the Born market was the central fruit and vegetable market of the city. At that time, meals were served 24 hours a day: tripe with “cap i pota”, cod and illustrious rice dishes that were the fuel for all those who gave life to the Market.
Today it is still a neighborhood restaurant, still frequented by those who came to recharge their batteries at the end of their workday. The same ones who witnessed how, in 2007, José Lombardero and Kate Preston acquired the restaurant and began a new stage. They renovated it, but maintaining the tradition of serving homemade Catalan cuisine on a continuous schedule, like any good neighborhood bar-restaurant. Of course, now, from 8 in the morning until midnight.
