The sale and divulgation of quality coffee is its reason for being. They sell coffee to the retail and hospitality industry to satisfy customers who want to consume good coffee. They test hundreds of samples a year, choose the ones that look best to them, and roast them with the utmost care, never ceasing to wonder how to improve at their craft. The coffees they present are the result of the experience accumulated throughout all these years through trips, fairs, readings, studies and conversations with great professionals in the coffee sector from around the world. Their trips home have also allowed them to create a network of friends and contacts with excellent coffee growers whom they deeply admire and with whom they share a love for the coffee bean.
Shop's history
In 1962 my parents created the Cafés El Magnífico brand on the foundations of the colonial store that my grandfather had opened in 1919.
After working for several years in the roaster where I learned to love coffee and the trade, I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Philippe Jobin in Le Havre, famous importer of fine coffees, tireless traveler and author of a reference book in our sector . That meeting led to a first purchase of fine coffees of various origins that we began to sell with traceability.The world of coffee has evolved a lot at all levels in recent decades.
In 1996, committed to the dissemination of coffee culture, with five other roasters we founded the Coffee Cultural Forum, a non-profit association of which I have been president on two occasions and have been part of multiple boards of directors. Today this association is a benchmark for all coffee professionals in Spain, bringing together a large part of the professionals in the sector.
